The motorcycle is covered with full comprehensive insurance which also covers 3rd party liability from the start of your  rental. Only the registered person renting the motorcycle is covered for damage, no-one else is permitted to ride the motorcycle.

If the bike is stolen or deemed a write-off, your insurance excess deposit will cover the cost to replace the motorcycle.

Damage to the motorcycle which does not exceed the insurance excess deposit,will be paid from the deposit.

*We do not offer any type of health insurance but we always recommend that you seek personal cover in this regard.

*All rented motorcycle gear and accessories are insured and carry an insurance depost, however if damaged the items will be replaced , not repaired.

Yes, we subscribe to BMW Roadside Assist for extra peace of mind should you run out of fuel, suffer a punctured tyre or expierience mechanical failure.  The cost of the services  if used, would be for the renter’s account.

You will always be able to get in touch with us, should the need arise, including after business hours.

*On rentals from 1 -6 days we give you 300 klms free per day, thereafter there is a charge of R3,80 per kilometre travelled,excluding Special Rates

*Bikes hired for 7 days or more come with unlimited mileage rental,excluding Special Rates.

*There will be a delivery and collection fee of R500.00 per one way for your motorcycle and accessories for distances exceeding 10 kilometres but not more than 150 kilometres from our offices, should you require this service. Additional charges for distances over 150 kilometres will be quoted for .

*If the motorcycle is not returned fully-fuelled, there will be a R250.00 refuelling charge (excludes the cost of the fuel)

*Insurance claim handling fee (process all insurance documents , consult with assessors etc ) is R500.00 per claim

*Traffic fine handling fee of R250 per fine if needed

Yes you may. We need to be notified of your changes asap. Upon contacting us to discuss the new dates, we will advise you of the additional fees.

Bikes are rented within a 24-hour period. If you collect at  10 A.M then you are expected to return the bike by no later than  10 A.M on the agreed upon day.    

Our Business hours are from 8:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m

Returns before or after these hours will carry a R500 fee unless otherwise arranged 

When returning the vehicle, additional charges will apply after the grace period of 1 hour is exceeded.

If a renter returns later than this grace period, Adventure Bike Rentals Cape Town charge for extra hours.

Excess hours are charged at one fifth of the daily rate subject to a maximum of 5 hours. Thereafter, full day rate will apply.

No, our insurance only covers you whilst you are within the South African borders.

Firstly seek medical attention if required. Your safety on the roads is paramount to us at Adventure Motorcycle Rentals.

*Do get  any involved 3rd party details (Driver’s Licence, Id, Vehicle registration number, photograph these items ). Also take lots of photos of the accident scene for future refernce.

* Contact the South African Police and give them a statement of the events , get a copy of the statement as this will be required for insurance purposes.

Upon receiving the motorcycle back from your rental, we will thoroughly wash and inspect the vehichle and begin the refund of deposit-  process.
